A pair of late 19th century button back ‘Howard’ type or style armchairs, each raised on four brass castors. The front legs are turned wood and the rear have a slight curve to them. This style of chair is a classic staple of every English country house.

The frames are good and sturdy. The fabric is in okay condition but has some marks here and there, therefore I am recommending that these chairs are for recovering.
