A very fine 19th century bronze of an eastern woman stood next to a jar, on a white marble base raised in a mahogany frame, signed Bouret to the base. The bronze retains its lovely original dark brown patina throughout.
Eutrope Bouret (1833-1906) is well know French artist of the 19th and early 20th century.
