An elegant and rare English mahogany apothecary cabinet with brass furnishings, dated to the early part of the nineteenth century. 

The cabinet, is rectangular with a flush fitted carrying handle and has a pair of locking doors with with a draw below,  (original key ) Once  that the doors are open the case  reveals further draws and original bottles set within the fitted case. The  drawers contain a comprehensive amount of original medicinal items and instruments. There is a pin within the cabinet which locks the secret sliding door holding the poison bottles. A very fine and comprehensive example of its type.

Condition

In good and complete condition. Small section of the neck to one bottle in the rear of the cabinet is broken.
