A pair of old Sheffield silver plated on copper wine coolers of baluster form. Circa 1820 with armorials engraved to the front for James Campbell-Brodie, belonging to the prominent and noble Scottish family who can trace their heritage back to the 13th century.
Approximate Dimensions
Each stand 25cm high, their main bodies are 22cm in diameter with the widest point from handle to handle being 31cm. The internal diameter is 12cm and 13cm deep for the wine bottle to sit in.
Condition
In very good condition for their age, some very minor wear of the silver plate showing the copper underneath which is usually expected on items such as these.
